Grandma

Before we took Grandma to the airport today, we went to Temple Square to see the flowers and have lunch at the Nauvoo Cafe. I LOVE spring at Temple Square. The tulips are amazing!

Josef

This afternoon when I went to get Josef up from his nap, he was kneeling in his crib. I guess it is time to lower his mattress!

I know I say this over and over, but Josef is getting so BIG! He is crawling every where, and getting into stuff, so again our lives are changing. Josef loves to wrinkle up his little nose, and snort. He does it all of the time, but when I get a camera he doesn't perform for me as I would like. These pictures are the best I have been able to capture.

Holden, No More Broccolli

Sunday evening after my aunt and uncles homecoming, we went to my cousin's home for dinner. Holden was eating up at the counter. I watched him eat 5 pieces of broccoli, and then I said "Holden, no more broccoli!" My cousin thought that was so funny...she said I have heard parents tell their children, "no more candy", but never "no more broccoli". Holden loves his fruits and veggies, and he also loves CHOCOLATE. Later that evening we had the yummiest chocolate cake. Holden was again eating up at the counter, and then I saw him take broccoli and dip it into the chocolate cake....

Whit & Josef

Sisters

The Best Daddy in the World !

Yesterday Ashley & Taylor were sealed in the Bountiful Temple. It was so special to be there with them, and so many family members. Ashley made an absolutely gorgeous bride (I do have to admit I am a little prejudice). I was so emotional at her sealing. Ashley and all of her family have a special place in my heart. They were all such a support to me when Ken was in Iraq. It is amazing how the Lord blessed me in such a difficult time. At the time that, Ashley was 14 and was being home schooled. Consequently, we spent a lot of time together. She has grown into such an amazing lady. I am grateful for the many discussions we have had over the years. In one of over discussion this past year, Ashley told me that Tayor was diderent than all of the other guys that she had dated, because he made her want to be a better person, what a compliment to Tayor! I am going to miss her since she and Taylor are moving to Seattle (I do love the city that they are moving to though!) I didn't take very many pictures, but here are a few!

Builders & Wreckers

Wilson and Holden love to build. It doesn't matter if it is LEGOs, Lincoln Logs or blocks...they just love to build castles, rockets ships, forts, houses, space stations and so on....

Josef loves to knock the buildings down.... now that he is crawling, he is going to drive his older brothers crazy....just a little!

Josef is Crawling with an Extra Toutie

Josef loves his toutie just like Wilson did (Holden was never very fond of his toutie). Not only does Josef like one is his mouth, he likes to have one in his hand to bang around, again just like Wilson....

Oh, yah....and he is crawling...towards is mommy!

Wilson first Fillings

This afterrnoon Wilson grabbed his blanket and curled up on the chair to rest....I can't remember the last time he took a nap....

Wilson went to the dentist this morning to got some cavities filled. I guess we are not flossings as well as we need to, we are working harder on it now! Wilson was "put out" to get the fillings, Ken brought him home, and he was not able to walk for about 3 hours. Wilson even got out of my bed, and I found him on the ground... It has been a day full of wathcing movies.... He said things looked wierd to him...

Horsey Ride

Holden's primary teacher invited us over to feed their horse. We brought carrots, but the horse did not like carrots, so Sister Romney went and got a apple for the boys to feed the horse. Brother Romney came home and asked the boys if they would like a ride, and of course they both said "yes!"

Adventure with Fireman Rocky

We went up to the Valley yesterday. Rocky was working at the fire station, so Ken took the boys over to see him. Rocky is always so fun with the boys. Wilson got to squirt the fire hose, and Holden and Wilson got to go for ride in the big fire truck!

Josef's First Fort

Wilson and Holden decided they wanted to build Josef a fort this morning. They gathered all of their blankets, and a couple of Josef's too. They had a hard time putting the top on it, so I helped them with that. They had so much fun peeking in at Josef. I guess there are advantages to being the youngest...you get your first fort when you are barely 8 months old!

Too Much Fun

Holden played at his friend's house this afternoon. He came home, had some yogurt, and fell asleep at the counter. I think that means he had a lot of fun at his friend's house.
