Little Ms. Independent

Aurora has been messing with her bottle when I feed her.  This morning I was finished feeding her, so I put her down, and she grabbed the bottle and started playing with it!  She is getting big way too fast!

Aurora

The boys got out the stuffed animals, and then left Aurora to hang out with them.  She found her favorite (the penguin), and then just looked at it, and chewed on it.  She is SO content!
She has found her voice, and boy can she spit!

Happy Birthday Morning

Wilson was so excited this morning to open his presents.  He had to wait until Holden woke up, it was 6:45am, and you would have thought he waited all day!  I can't believe he is 8 years old, time sure does fly when you are having fun!

Wilson turned 8

I hate when pictures turn out horrible, that is probably why I posting Wilson's birthday pictures a month late!
Wilson had a great day with presents, Boondocks, and the red velvet cake he requested!

One Year Later

 She loves to spit!
It was one year ago today that I found out we were going to have a little girl.  This little girl had her name picked out years before she was born, and I was at the point that I did think we would ever have an Aurora!  One year later she is such a joy in our family.  Her brothers adore her, and so do her mom and dad!

Welcome to the Kitchen

On the Move

Aurora is on the move, our house isn't going to be the same for a really long time!  The gate is back up, the boys have been put on alert that there are to be no LEGOs in the living room, cords have been adjusted, and the list goes on!  She rolls back and for, all over, and scoots on her back! If she sees something she wants, she is on her way...

Cub Scout

Wilson is a Cub Scout!  He has already read his book multiple times, and completed his Bobcat.  He had to wait for me to go over the safety guidelines with him.  I had to talk to him about scenario's that made my stomach hurt...his sweet innocent face was appalled at some of the things we talked about.  I am sure it is a good thing to talk to him about, but I hate that my children live in a world that has so much sin (I know there is much good too - that is really what I would rather talk to him about).  I know that Wilson will be prepared if he ever encounters the things we talked about, and I hope if he does he will always feel comfortable to talk to either his dad or me.

Baby James is visiting again!  Aurora and James had fun playing on the floor during the Superbowl!

I guess Aurora was done with her toutie...it is on her head...the funny little girl!

So much to celebrate!

Friday night we went to dinner at Parkstone to celebrate!  Wilson and Holden got their report cards, and had SEP conferences, and they have both done very well in school!  Josef is potty trained!!!!! He is doing so well wearing "big boy" underwear.  I am so grateful to have finished potty training "the boys"!!! I have heard that girls are suppose to be easier than boys...I guess I will find out:)

Guess Who?????

This picture is of Wilson.  Ken found this last week.  It is from some paperwork (that is why it looks so bad, it is a picture of some paperwork) from when Wilson got his helmet made.  I can't believe the resemblance between Wilson and Aurora!
Wilson is just two weeks younger than Aurora in this picture....like brother like sister!  I am just grateful Aurora's head is beautiful and round:)
