He helped me brine the Turkey

How could I not enjoy myself brining a turkey while this littlle guy looked on? Josef is such a little smiler and giggler. He loves to be looked at, smiled at and talked to!

What Happened to Thanksgiving

This is what Wilson brought home from school today. I guess I need to spend more time teaching him about Thanksgiving. Of course, Christmas is a great thing to be thankful for, but it would be nice to make it passed Thanksgiving before we move on to Christmas:)

Value Jars

The things I work on.....

I have been working on these jars FOREVER!!!! Finding the jars (different sizes and shapes), finding the right colored candy, painting lids (Ken's contribution - thanks!), more candy, vinyl lettering, painting again, ribbons, tags and the list goes on! I am so glad that they are finished and Young Women in Excellence is on Sunday evening. I guess I better figure out what I am going to say now:)

Men at Work

Good Morning Peacock!

Wilson's hair is crazy. I remember, before I was married and had kids, seeing kids with crazy hair, and thinking..if I ever have kids their hair will never look like that(especially in public)! Well, I have had to eat those words! Wilson's hair is just plain unruly. It doesn't matter how many times I wet it down, blow dry it, put gel it, it just sticks up! I am trying to let it get longer in hopes that it will calm it down, after seeing the peacock this morning, I am doubting that strategy. Today he is getting a haircut. I do have to admit, I think he is a pretty cute peacock:)

Happy 7th Anniversary Ken!!!

The Saucer

Josef - 12 weeks old

Holden - 16 weeks old

Wilson - 18 weeks old

Wilson and Holden both loved the saucer. In fact, they still love it and can't stay away from it when Josef is in there now. I actually found Holden stuck in it earlier this morning - yes he is small for a 3 year old!

I know I am a little OVERBOARD, but... Oh, well!

Josef is so responsive! I just can't capture that smile and tongue enough! I know I am a crazy mom! But really, what would you do if you got this kind of response as you put a 12 week old baby into his carseat! I am sure it would be the same thing I did, grab my camera!

From Smiles to Sleep

Josef the Happy Boy

Josef has gotten so interactive. He loves to be talked to, and looked at, and is quick to respond back with smiles. I wish he wasn't so wiggly, because he makes it hard to get a good picture. He has such a happy and content disposition, he had a shot this morning, and he stills giggles and smiles!
