Wilson lost his gold tooth!

Wilson finally lost his gold tooth.  He has always been so proud of having a gold tooth like a pirate:)  It has been loose for along time.  I DO NOT like pulling teeth, so we are lucky to have an Auntie that is great at it!!!! He looks totally different to me now - he really is getting to be a big boy...

Grandma & Grandpa's Quick Visit

Grandma and Grandpa were here for the weekend.  The boys had a great time with them.

We went to the Joseph Smith Memorial Building to get some help with our names that our temple ready.  They have this cute photo op there, so G & G, Holden, and Josef look like they just landed at Ellis Island.
The is a picture of all the grandkids with G & G - they are all getting so big:)

Oh, Josef

This morning Josef wanted to make a fort, so he decided to take all of the toys out of his room, and into the hall!  He and Sam have played, in the hall, for the last 2 1/2 hours.  I am sure he is going to love picking up all of the toys, and putting them back into his room:)

How many days til???

Grandma & Grandpa Voordeckers are coming to visit.  Since the first day of April, Wilson and Holden have been asking "how many days until Grandma & Grandpa get here?"  Grandpa hasn't been here since last summer, so I understand their excitement, but I am getting tired of answering the questions!  They have also already started praying that they will travel safely here, and have fun with them.  Last week Holden even asked me if they had already started driving...I know it takes a long time to get here, but not that long!  I saw this printable for a paper chain, so yesterday we made it.  I hope it will help the boys understand how many days until Grandma and Grandpa get here!

Breakfast

This morning there was a plate of cookies leftover from last night left on the table. Josef helped himself to a frosted sugar cookie while Wilson ate his frosted flakes:)
Josef has gotten so big, on Friday, I got my hair cut and the stylist curled it.  When I saw him, he stared at my hair and said, "you hair curly...like Stoney!!"

It snowed on Friday, and Holden kept going out on the deck to get snow to eat.  He said, "hey mom, this snow could sure some sugar!"

I am so grateful for my little boys that keep me entertained with their thoughts!

Easter Dinner

Grandma and Grandpa Holden joined us for Easter dinner.  The boys had fun showing off all of their tricks for Grandma and Grandpa!

Easter Egg Hunt

We went to Bart and Shells for an Easter Egg Hunt and dinner on Saturday.  The kids had so much fun, and Evan did a fantastic job hiding the eggs in the Holmes' backyard!

Bart's carne asada was the star of the night, it was delicious! We love having cousins so close to us!

Treehouse Museum

I don't know who the little girl is, she refused to get off of the fire truck!

Last week we went to the Treehouse Museum in Ogden.  Wilson had gone on a field trip there, and had wanted to share it with his brothers.  It was packed - gotta love Spring Break!  We had a fun time!

Ultrasound Update

I had my follow up ultrasound today.  Aurora looks great!  She is not shy, and made sure that I was reassured that she is a GIRL, and her Dad has not wasted his time priming over the blue paint in her room twice:)
She still has dilated kidneys, so we will have another ultrasound in 6 weeks to make sure they have not gotten worse.  All of her other measurements look perfect.  We saw her cute facial profile (she has a nasal bone - lack of is another soft sign for DS.)    She has the Wilson legs, her femur is measuring long (short femur is another soft sign.)  Her feet are so cute, and her toes do not have a gap between the second and big toe (still another soft sign for DS.)  All these things said, there is still a chance that she will be born with DS, but we will just wait and see when she is born.
We are all grateful she is continuing to grow, and all looks well!

OK, so they have both grown a ton!

I can't believe how much Wilson and the blue spruce have both grown in less than 6 yrs.  Boy, how time flies:)
