First Day of School

 Holden and Wilson both started year round school.  This year our summer was just 6 weeks, but they were both ready to go back to school!  They will be on track for three weeks, and then get another 3 weeks off!  I know they will both do well this year.  Josef is excited to start Preschool in September!

Walking

Aurora started really walking.  She is getting better everyday, and is walking further and further!

She still can crawl a lot faster than walk, so she does opt to crawl some times!

She is One!

Oh, how she has grown this past year!

My friend, Amy Paterson, has wanted to take my children to Pace's in Bountiful for awhile, so we finally did it!  Their turquiose wall and Coca Cola signs worked great!  Amy's little car was great too!

I love, love, love this face!  Aurora knows what she wants, and when she doesn't get this, she yells!  I love my little spitfire girl:)

Hogle Zoo with Cousins

We went to the Hogle Zoo today with Annalise and Keaton.  It has been fun to have them the past two days, we love our cousins!

 Holden had fun waiting for the elephant show, he helped entertain the group!

 Josef wanted to ride in the peacock, Annalise told him she would ride in front of him, obviously Josef is able to persuade Annalise.  He loves her, and she loves him right back!

Aurora finally pooped out, when the kids took a ride on the carousel, she is such a trooper!

Oh, she makes me smile:)

Aurora is such a pleasure.  She is such a mellow easy going baby.  She just makes me happy.  She is such a wonderful blessing to our family!  I can't believe how quickly she is growing up!

Cub Scout Camp

 Wilson went to Cub Scout Day Camp.  He was so excited to go with some of his best buddies.  When he came home he was filthy...his socks were gross from getting wet when they went canoeing.  Wilson is a great boy, and is growing up so quickly! We are blessed to have him in our family!

The Cake

Aurora was not too sure about the cake.  James loved the cake, and had fun with it.  After Aurora watched James she decided to try eating it without her hands too!

Aurora & James' First Birthday Party

 We put the banners up, and then decided to do it outside, and of course I forgot to take a picture of the banners outside!

 Ashley made the cakes, and did an amazing job!  My boys never had a first birthday cake like this:)

Aurora's Rides

Aurora loved riding in the stroller, and she especially loved going down the stairs:)

Swimming and Sleeping

 We didn't get any pictures swimming, but I love these of my happy boys...they had a great time!

I didn't get many pictures of our happy sweet Aurora either...I love this of she and her dad...both have their arm up by their heads:)

Adventure Zone

On Saturday the boys got an all day pass to the adventure zone.  The got to do rock climbing, a huge slide, and some other things to climb on.  Wilson and Holden loved the rock climbing, and I was impressed on how good they were!

 I love the clouds in the background...it rained every day we were there...it was great, and cooled off, I love a good summer thunder and lightening rain shower!

Josef did not rock climb, but he loved the other stuff!

Holden loved climbing barefoot.  He was amazing to watch, I couldn't believe the strength that little, skinny boy has!

Wilson made it to the top, and was able to ring the buzzer.  He was so excited, it was a rough climb up, and he wanted to drop several times, but with help and encouragement from his dad he made it!

Flying Eagle

I know it is hard to see, it is a zip line that is for small kids...it was fun:) Ken went with Holden and I went with Wilson...Josef was too small....

City Park

 We went to the City Park several times.  The had a great shady area and really fun playground!

Legacy Launcher

The condo we stayed in was 4 stories above the Legacy Launcher, every time we were in the condo the boys were staring out the window at people doing this.  You had to weight 40 pounds to do it, so poor Josef was too small, and really Holden barely weighted enough:)

This picture was taken on our last night.  We had gone to dinner, and Ken took Aurora and Holden back to  the condo before we finished our dinner.  We walked by Legacy Launcher and called them to the window...it was a condo with a view:)

Alpine Slide

Holden had to ride with Dad, and Wilson got to side alone.  Wilson figured out how to really work the lever the next day, when I rode with Josef and he rode alone again!  It was a beautiful lift ride up the mountain.  I am a little scared of heights, and there were a few moments that freaked me out a little:)

I need to upload Ken's phone, because that has the pictures and videos of Wilson, Josef and me the next day!

Rock Star Trip

Ken was given the Rock Star Award, and received a $1000 travel voucher.  We decided to go to Park City as a family.  We are all grateful Ken shared it with all of us!  We stayed in a condo 2 bedroom 3 bathroom at the Park City Mountain Resort.  It was great!  We went up on Thursday, and came home Sunday after church.  It was a fun get away!  The boys got to go on the Alpine Slide, Flying Eagle, play in the Adventure Zone, jump on the Legacy Launcher, and swim.  We also went and saw Despicable Me 2 (which is great), and played at City Park.  It was a weekend full of fun:)

Brittany's Art Show Opening

 We went to Provo to Brittany's art show opening.  Wilson, my Ute, wanted to go to the BYU bookstore to "look around".  With some encouragement from his dad, he got a BYU shirt, actually everyone but me, got some BYU apparel.  I think Wilson might be slipping back into being a BYU fan....

 Brittany's paintings were beautiful.  I am so proud of her dedication to fulfilling her dream.  She is an amazing mom and artist!
